We are proud to announce that we've officially opened our newest office in Bengaluru, India. This marks our first expansion beyond the US from one "Silicon Valley" to another.

With established teams in California and Pennsylvania, this opening extends our international footprint and enables us to tap into India's immense talent pool.

Why Bengaluru?

Our goal is omni-bodied intelligence – any robot, any task, one brain. To accomplish that, we need a high density of technical talent.

Bengaluru is one of the world's strongest ecosystems for AI research, infrastructure, and software engineering. The city has a unique blend of startup velocity and deep academic rigor, a combination that's critical when you're pushing the boundaries of physical AI.

But we didn't want to collaborate at arm's length.
We wanted to build inside the ecosystem.

Establishing a presence here allows us to:

  • Recruit world-class robotics engineers, AI scientists, and systems engineers
  • Increase the diversity of thinking across model architecture and deployment strategy
  • Strengthen our infrastructure for large-scale, real-world deployments

Building Omni-Bodied Intelligence

At Skild AI, we're developing an omni-bodied brain that can operate any robot to perform any task.

This requires:

  • Novel algorithms, such as the emergence of in-context learning in robotics
  • Large-scale data pipelines
  • Data flywheel and feedback loops from real-world deployments

Expanding into Bengaluru increases our capacity to experiment, stress-test, and refine core components of the brain, from perception and control policies to evaluation and deployment infrastructure.

A Globally Unified Engineering Org

With teams now spanning the West Coast, the East Coast, and India's leading technology hub, we're building a tightly integrated engineering organization to leverage worldwide talent and a wide array of skill sets.

More engineers. Faster iteration. Stronger systems.

India, we're here.
And we couldn't be more excited to start building with you.
